Journaling for Health: Guided Meditations for Writing and Relaxation

A new CD by Lori Batcheller, MA, MPT, CYT-500
With Celtic Harp by Jerry Marchand

 About the CD:

Let seasoned journal writer and author of Journey to Health: Writing Your Way to Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Well-being, Lori Batcheller, guide you in a series of meditations designed to jumpstart your healing process through writing. Journaling is a powerful means of dipping beneath the conscious mind to gain fresh insights on current challenges. These meditations will help you access the proven healing power of writing. You’ll reduce stress, lift your mood, access deep inner wisdom, and gain lasting benefits in your health and well-being.

1.    Guided Relaxation
Reduce stress and promote feelings of well-being.

2.    Mental Imagery Scan
Become aware of your body and the messages stored within.

3.    Precious Memories
Induce endorphins—the “feel good” hormones—by capturing your favorite     memories.

4.    Inner Healer Meeting
Meet your wise Inner Healer, that part of you that has never been touched by anything that has ever happened. In addition to writing about this experience, find a blank page, some colored pencils or crayons, and sketch the images that come to mind.

5.    Inner Healer Dialogue
Access the wisdom of your Inner Healer through script-like writing.

6.    Creating a Wellness Kit
Discover what promotes health for you. After completing this exercise, write each item on a slip of paper and place it in a favorite bowl or basket. When you’re feeling blue, pick an item and do it!

7.    The Teaching
Everything that happens to us is an opportunity to grow spiritually. Use this track repeatedly as life presents you with new areas to grow.
