The Villa in Rome

Built in the 1930s for my grandfather in the Liberty Style, it is surrounded by a private garden, and has a quiet and meditative atmosphere.

The second floor’s configuration is the following: 4 large dbl bedrooms with twin beds or queen size bed, one beautiful room w/ a double bed and vintage furniture, and another smaller single bedroom with a twin bed. All the rooms have a desk and include linen and towels, daily cleaning and the use of the cooking corner. Two bathrooms are on the second floor while the other bathroom is on the first floor. You may choose to rent a room with an independent bathroom. Please note that all the rooms are at the second floor, there is no elevator. We have facilities available in the house to prepare your own meals or you may eat at good, inexpensive restaurants close to the house.

Key Information

The experience of Rome is vastly different from the Italian countryside.  It is a unique culture onto itself. Historically Rome has been the center of the western civilization. To the modern visitors, Rome offers archeological sites, magnificent palaces, museums, and beautiful baroque churches all within easy access.  Unique art collections include the Vatican and the Maxxi Museums (the newly remodeled Modern Art Museum), which include temporary exhibits of the highest caliber. Exclusive art and antiquities galleries, the pride of the city’s art collectors, are accessible to you in the medieval part of town.  In the same area of town, you can stroll down to Piazza di Spagna (the Spanish Steps), where the most famous names of the "Made in Italy" lines are competing to show their luxurious collections.  In Rome, you can enjoy an incredible variety of excellent eateries, trattorias, markets and spectacular vistas….
